The Weihai Municipal Postal Administration, in collaboration with the Municipal Social Work Department in Shandong Province, recently conducted a specialized investigation into party building within the city's express delivery industry and the management of courier services.
The research team visited frontline express delivery enterprises, inspecting the development of courier-friendly environments and reviewing progress on rights protection and integration into community governance. Both departments exchanged insights on strengthening party leadership, optimizing service measures, and facilitating couriers' better integration into urban development.
The investigation emphasized the need to continuously enhance party building and service management for courier groups, reinforcing a "new" party-building approach to expand organizational coverage and effectively utilize various service facilities. It also highlighted optimizing "warm" services by adopting a demand-oriented approach, precisely matching offerings such as rights protection, skill enhancement, and daily life care to address couriers' practical challenges. Additionally, the focus was on deepening "new" governance by creating channels for grassroots participation, guiding more couriers to engage in urban development, steadily gathering industry momentum, and injecting fresh vitality into the city's grassroots governance.
