Dollar Tree's stock surged 5.19% during pre-market trading on Thursday, following the announcement of a significant expansion of its partnership with delivery platform DoorDash.
The partnership makes on-demand delivery available from Dollar Tree's full U.S. store footprint, encompassing more than 9,000 stores across 48 states and over 10,000 products. This move significantly expands the discount retailer's reach and convenience for customers.
As part of the promotion, new Dollar Tree customers on DoorDash can receive 40% off orders of $25 or more through June 17, 2026. Furthermore, Dollar Tree will be eligible for DashPass benefits, which include $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees on qualifying orders, enhancing the value proposition for the chain.
