During the reporting period, the life sciences division generated revenues of approximately 319 million US dollars, up 28.8% from the prior year, with adjusted operating profit jumping nearly 102.8% to about 94 million US dollars. The company attributed this growth to a structural increase in AI-driven drug discovery, which has fueled rising demand for integrated "gene-to-protein" solutions.
Notably, GENSCRIPT BIO's globally leading gene-to-protein platform now accounts for roughly 66% of life sciences segment revenue, solidifying its position as a key growth driver. The AIDD (AI-driven drug discovery)-related business doubled year-over-year, maintaining a rapid growth trajectory for the third consecutive half-year period. The company also highlighted that deepening collaborations with top global AI pharmaceutical firms are strengthening its competitive edge as a premier wet-lab validation platform, and it expects order revenues from AIDD to continue doubling in the future.
