Wuling Motors Holdings Limited (00305) has issued a profit guidance announcement, projecting a net profit of approximately RMB 63 million for the six months ending June 30, 2026. This represents a decline of about 27% compared to the net profit of RMB 85.809 million recorded during the same period in 2025.

The company also anticipates that profit attributable to equity holders for the interim period will be roughly RMB 26 million, marking a decrease of approximately 34% from the RMB 39.416 million reported in the prior corresponding period.

According to the announcement, the decline in both unaudited net profit and attributable profit is primarily driven by steadily increasing research and development expenses resulting from ongoing new product and development projects. Additionally, the company's share of losses from its associate, Liuzhou Wuling New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd., has widened, as the associate remains in its early operational stage and continues to face adverse market conditions during the review period.
