JD.com's government and enterprise business division has entered into a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Lenovo Imaging Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Lenovo Imaging"), a subsidiary of Lenovo Group Ltd. The collaboration will be deepened across four key areas: product development, channel integration, comprehensive marketing, and joint service initiatives. The partnership aims to further penetrate the smart office sector, with a goal to surpass 10 billion yuan in sales through government and enterprise channels over the next three years.

Representatives from both JD.com's enterprise unit and Lenovo Imaging were present at the signing ceremony. Lenovo Imaging currently offers a portfolio of over 120 printing products, catering to a diverse user base from individuals and families to small and medium-sized businesses and various industries. The company provides solutions including mobile printing and print management, with a commitment to establishing itself as a world-leading Chinese printing brand.

This strategic alliance will leverage the respective strengths of both parties to solidify an integrated enterprise service model encompassing "hardware + software + service." The goal is to assist more government and corporate clients in achieving digital and intelligent office transformations and refining their procurement processes.

Product Development Collaboration

On the product front, the partners will jointly develop domestic printing solutions. A dedicated team will be established to provide data support—such as user research and market analysis—and resource support for software development and product compatibility. By aligning demand with supply precisely, the partnership will continue to introduce high-performance printing products compatible with the domestic technology ecosystem.

Channel and Marketing Integration

Regarding channels and marketing, both sides will open their cooperative channels, integrating government and enterprise procurement platforms such as JD.com's Smart Procurement and JD.com's Business Procurement. This will accelerate the delivery of innovative domestic printing solutions to corporate and government clients. Furthermore, the partners will enhance joint marketing campaigns on their platforms and collaborate on external promotional activities to improve information reach and user awareness.

Lenovo Imaging and JD.com's enterprise business have collaborated for several years. Based on continuous insights into corporate procurement needs, they have launched multiple customized products. With the formalization of this strategic agreement, both parties will fully utilize their respective resources and capabilities to accelerate the adoption of domestic printing products in the government and enterprise market, jointly contributing to the ongoing upgrade of China's smart office industry.

The cooperation focuses on deeply integrating printing equipment into corporate digital procurement workflows, emphasizing the provision of "a complete, operational service package."

Background of the Partnership

This agreement extends the long-term strategic synergy between JD.com and Lenovo Group. The companies initially signed a three-year cooperation agreement in 2016, setting a sales target of 600 billion yuan for Lenovo's full product line on the JD.com platform, a goal which was achieved ahead of schedule in 2020. In 2024, their partnership was upgraded, with the three-year sales target raised to 1.2 trillion yuan. The focus was explicitly set on AI PCs as a key breakthrough area, aiming to co-build an AI terminal ecosystem.

During JD.com's "Double 11" sales festival in 2025, Lenovo's sales performance across all channels was notable, securing 19 top positions on JD.com's Computer & Digital Products ranking list, with AI PCs serving as a primary growth driver. In January 2026, at the "CES Tech World" conference, the two companies announced a further deepening of their AI collaboration. Lenovo's new AI products will be given priority launches on the JD.com platform, and they will explore the integration of hybrid AI with retail scenarios.

A report on digital intelligent supply chain procurement development released in July last year indicated that in 2024, the total value of corporate goods procurement nationwide reached 188.3 trillion yuan, marking a year-on-year increase of 7.3%, signifying continued market expansion.

JD.com's Strategic Initiatives

In September 2025, JD.com's government and enterprise business launched the "Trillion Market Partner Plan." This initiative aims to help over 300 brand partners achieve annual sales exceeding 100 million yuan within the next three years, jointly create over 10,000 best-selling procurement products, and serve more than 10 million government and enterprise procurement clients.

A JD.com representative stated that a key strength of its enterprise business lies in building a digital intelligent supply chain. Through its self-built logistics network and supply chain system, JD.com continuously enhances its full-cycle service capabilities, spanning from order fulfillment to deployment, management, upgrades, and maintenance. The nature of the current cooperation has evolved from selling individual products to a long-term, co-creation model centered on the "enterprise digital entry point," aiming to improve the stability, scalability, and depth of service within corporate procurement processes.
