Last year, over 50,000 mass sports events and activities were organized throughout the province, achieving comprehensive event coverage across provincial, city, county, township, and village levels.

The "Hebei Five Super" initiative was advanced through coordinated efforts between provincial and city authorities. From August 2025 to February 2026, the program featured 26 regular-season rounds comprising 182 matches. These events attracted over 400,000 live spectators, with live broadcasts accumulating more than 1.125 billion views. Related content published online achieved a total viewership exceeding 2.844 billion.

Provincial-level mass sports brand events have shown initial success. The high-quality Hebei Second Provincial Fitness Games featured 28 competition categories, creating an accessible platform for public participation that attracted over 500,000 participants. Additionally, the province successfully completed preparation and participation tasks for the 15th National Games mass sports events.

The sports benefit program held 13,000 events including football, basketball, table tennis, chess, square dancing, and fitness walking. Signature programs like "Walking the Grand Canal" and specialized events such as village basketball leagues (Village BA), village table tennis competitions (Village Ping), and rural square dance contests (Village Dance) have significantly expanded the reach and influence of national fitness activities.

This year, the province will continue developing high-level independent sports IP, strengthening the five-level event organization structure. It will enhance four key provincial leagues for football, basketball, table tennis, and chess while focusing on improving the quality of the "Hebei Five Super" event to establish a national benchmark for mass sports.

The province will cultivate specialized brand events including triathlons, cycling, marathons, and mountain trail running, creating a comprehensive fitness event system characterized by monthly competitions, weekly matches, and influential brands. It will also host national regional events like the Second National Fitness Games (North China Region) and provincial games mass sports competitions, while sequentially organizing seven national fitness theme activities including the "Walking the Grand Canal" fitness walk and National Fitness Day celebrations to demonstrate leadership and foster public participation.
