China Water Industry Receives High Court Winding-Up Order; Trading Halted

On 15 June 2026, China Water Industry Group Limited (In Liquidation) was ordered to be wound up by the High Court of Hong Kong under Companies (Winding-up) Proceedings No. 721 of 2025. Pursuant to the order, the Official Receiver has automatically assumed the role of Provisional Liquidator, with Lillian Chow appointed to manage the company’s affairs, business and property strictly as agent of the company and without personal liability.

Trading in China Water Industry’s shares on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong was suspended at 11:14 a.m. on 15 June 2026 and will remain halted until further notice.

The company has stated it will issue additional announcements to update the market on the progress of the liquidation. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution and seek professional advice regarding the implications of the winding-up order and prolonged trading suspension.

Immediately before the court order, the board comprised Executive Directors Mr. Zhu Yongjun (Chairman) and Ms. Chu Yin Yin Georgiana, alongside Independent Non-Executive Directors Mr. Wong Siu Keung, Joe, Mr. Lam Cheung Shing, Richard and Mr. Mak Ka Wing, Patrick.
