4.85 Billion Hong Kong Dollar Shift in Riverine China Holdings Stock Transfer

RIVERINE CHINA (01417) experienced a significant change in its shareholding position on August 12, with the total market value of the transfer reaching 4.85 billion Hong Kong dollars, representing 12.78% of the company's total shares.

According to the latest data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the company's shareholders transferred 50.036 million shares to Guotai Junan International Holdings Limited, while 50 million shares were moved out of Lego Securities.

Previously, RIVERINE CHINA announced that Dawson Capital Limited and Billion Capital Financial Limited, both licensed corporations authorized to conduct Type 6 regulated activities (advising on corporate finance) under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong), have been appointed as joint independent financial advisors to advise the independent board committee on the terms of the offer and whether to accept it. This appointment has been approved by the independent board committee in accordance with Rule 2.1 of the Takeovers Code.
