Chaoju Eye Care buys back 60,000 shares; outstanding repurchases reach 0.09% of share base

Chaoju Eye Care Holdings Limited submitted a Next Day Disclosure Return on 21 May 2026, confirming a fresh on-market repurchase of 60,000 ordinary shares on the same day. The transaction was executed within a price range of HKD 2.64–2.71 per share, for an aggregate consideration of HKD 0.16 million.

Including this latest trade, the group has bought back 622,000 shares between 2 April and 21 May 2026 that remain uncancelled. The cumulative volume equals approximately 0.09 % of the current issued share capital of 705.18 million shares, with an estimated cash outlay of HKD 1.77 million.

The board mandate approved on 12 May 2026 allows for repurchases of up to 70.52 million shares (10 % of issued shares). To date, 240,000 shares, or 0.03 % of the mandate limit, have been repurchased under this authorisation, leaving about 70.28 million shares still available for future buybacks.

The company’s total issued share count remains at 705.18 million as of 21 May 2026, as the repurchased shares have not yet been cancelled. In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, Chaoju Eye Care is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares until 20 June 2026.
