Aug 07

AK Medical Holdings Limited disclosed a forthcoming leadership change in its corporate governance team, effective 7 August 2026.

• Resignation: Current Company Secretary and Authorised Representative Ms. Ma Rongkun will step down for personal career reasons. She confirmed no disagreements with the Board and no matters requiring shareholder or Stock Exchange attention.

• New appointments: The Board has named Chief Financial Officer Ms. Liang Kun and Tricor Services manager Ms. Lee Lai Wah as Joint Company Secretaries from the same date. Ms. Liang will concurrently assume the role of Authorised Representative.

– Ms. Liang has served as AK Medical’s CFO since December 2020 and brings auditing and finance expertise from Ernst & Young Hua Ming LLP and United Technologies Corporation. She is a certified public accountant in China and holds an accounting degree from Tianjin University of Finance and Economics.  – Ms. Lee has more than five years’ experience in corporate secretarial services, primarily with Tricor Services Limited. She holds a master’s degree in corporate governance from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and is an associate member of both HKCGI and CGI (UK).

• Waiver granted: Because Ms. Liang does not yet meet the formal professional qualifications stipulated under Hong Kong Listing Rules 3.28 and 8.17, the Stock Exchange has approved a waiver permitting her to act as Joint Company Secretary for a three-year period ending 6 August 2029. Conditions include:  1) Ms. Liang must be continuously assisted by Ms. Lee during the waiver period, and  2) any material breach of the Listing Rules could revoke the waiver. Before the waiver expires, the Company must demonstrate that Ms. Liang has acquired sufficient experience to fulfil company secretary duties independently.

The Board expressed appreciation for Ms. Ma’s contributions and extended a formal welcome to Ms. Liang and Ms. Lee as they assume their new responsibilities.
