Chongqing Produced 509,000 New Energy Vehicles from January to June
The release of the "2025 Chongqing Automobile and Motorcycle Industry Development Report (Blue Book)" and the 2026 Western Land-Sea New Corridor Automotive and Motorcycle Industry High-Quality Development Conference were recently held in Chongqing. This blue book systematically analyzes the development status, overall industrial chain layout, market trends, and innovative achievements of Chongqing's automotive and motorcycle industry in 2025. According to the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, the scale of the city's automotive and motorcycle industry has reached a new level. From January to June this year, the city's new energy vehicle output reached 509,000 units, an increase of 3.8%. Motorcycle production was 5.728 million units, accounting for approximately 30% of the national total, with a growth rate of 49.7%, which is 27.1 percentage points higher than the national average.
Chongqing Hosts 2026 Summer Food Industry Resource Connection Conference
The 2026 Summer Food Industry Resource Connection Conference was recently held in Chongqing. At the event, the Western Food Industry Product Selection Center was officially inaugurated. This center aims to create a comprehensive service platform integrating product display, selection and matching, live-streaming e-commerce, and brand incubation, providing a one-stop solution for Chongqing food enterprises to expand their online and offline omni-channel sales pathways. The Food Industry Empowerment Service System was also launched simultaneously. The Chongqing Food Industry Association signed "Financial Service Center Co-construction Agreements" with financial institutions including Xiamen Bank, Bank of China, China Merchants Bank, Postal Savings Bank of China, and Chongqing Rural Commercial Bank. Chongqing Smart Manufacturing Specialized Career Fair Scheduled for July 25
The Chongqing Smart Manufacturing Specialized Career Fair, a municipal-level demonstration event under the city's seventh "100-Day Tens of Millions Recruitment Campaign," will be held on July 25. The career fair will feature dedicated zones for core components and foundational support, smart manufacturing equipment, industrial software and information technology, smart logistics and warehousing equipment, and smart manufacturing system solutions and integration services. It will offer over 1,000 job positions, including roles such as Embedded Software Engineer, Structural Engineer, UI Engineer, Electrical PLC Commissioning Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, Equipment Management, and Quality Inspector.

National Data Bureau: 120,000 High-Quality Datasets Established Nationwide
The National Data Bureau reported on July 18 that China has continuously increased the supply of high-quality data and has established 120,000 high-quality datasets. As of the end of June this year, the total volume of high-quality datasets in sectors such as scientific research, industrial manufacturing, healthcare, and education nationwide exceeded 1,565 petabytes (PB), an increase of over 60% compared to the end of the first quarter. The current volume is equivalent to approximately 547 times the digital resource holdings of the National Library of China, providing strong support for the development of artificial intelligence. The next step for the National Data Bureau is to deepen the construction of a high-quality data supply system serving AI, using model applications to drive data supply and data to drive model iteration, thereby promoting a value cycle for the paid use of datasets.
C919 to Operate Its First International Commercial Route
According to Air China, starting August 12, the Air China Beijing Capital-Ulaanbaatar route will be operated by the domestically produced C919 aircraft, with one daily flight. This marks the C919's first regularly scheduled international passenger route for regular commercial operations. The outbound flight, CA723, departs Beijing Capital at 15:00 and arrives in Ulaanbaatar at 17:15. The return flight, CA724, departs Ulaanbaatar at 18:30 and arrives in Beijing Capital at 20:35.
First AI Diagnosis and Treatment Benchmark for Difficult Cases Released, Covering 30 Clinical Specialties
On July 18, the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference Medical Sub-Forum was held at the West Bund in Xuhui, Shanghai. During the forum, Shanghai released the industry's first AI diagnosis and treatment evaluation benchmark specifically for difficult and complex medical cases. This benchmark covers 30 clinical specialties and is designed to test the real-world capabilities of large medical models in handling complex cases. The forum also released the "2026 AI + Health Shanghai Practice" case collection, which documents application experiences of AI across seven major scenarios: clinical decision support, patient healthcare, intelligent traditional Chinese medicine, primary public health, and hospital management.
