Flywire Corp. (FLYW) shares surged 16.93% during Tuesday's trading session, driven by the release of robust first-quarter fiscal 2026 financial results that significantly exceeded analyst expectations.

The payment software provider reported quarterly earnings of $0.10 per share, beating the consensus estimate of $0.04 by 150%. Revenue soared 41% year-over-year to $188.1 million, surpassing estimates of approximately $172 million. The company swung to a net income of $12.5 million from a loss in the prior-year period, while adjusted EBITDA rose 81.8% to $39.3 million, also topping expectations.

Further bolstering investor sentiment, Flywire announced an accelerated share repurchase program of up to $50 million and raised its full-year guidance, now expecting 18-24% year-over-year growth in FX-neutral revenue less ancillary services and adjusted EBITDA margin growth of 175-375 basis points. Total payment volume climbed 36.5% to $11.4 billion during the quarter, supported by strong client growth across all verticals and product innovation incorporating AI.
