Aoxin Q & M Dental Group Limited announced the planned closure of Panjin Aoxin Quanmin Stomatology Hospital when its lease ends in mid-Apr, 2026.
The hospital has operated at a loss since its 2017 incorporation, and the company said winding it down should stem annual deficits and allow resources to be redirected to more profitable locations.
Closing the facility will result in a one-off charge of about RMB3 million, covering the write-off of renovation costs, non-transferable assets and staff retrenchment payments. Approximately 40% of employees will be redeployed to other clinics in Panjin, while the remainder will be laid off in line with local labor regulations.
Despite the shutdown, the group will maintain a presence in Panjin city through two existing dental polyclinics, Panjin Jingcheng Q & M Stomatology and Panjin Jinsai Q & M Stomatology.
The cost will be fully booked in the financial year ending Dec, 31 2026.
