NASA has released a new high-resolution self-portrait of the Orion spacecraft taken in space. The image was captured during routine checks on the second day of the Artemis II mission, with a camera mounted on one of the spacecraft's solar panels. Crew members have scheduled multiple tasks for the mission's fourth day. At 9:10 PM Eastern Time, astronaut Victor Glover will manually pilot Orion for a planned deep-space maneuverability test, evaluating the spacecraft's response to various movements far from Earth. Additionally, NASA's flight control team has arranged a 24-hour acoustic test to help engineers more accurately assess noise levels inside the Orion capsule.
