Optical Communications, Space, Nuclear Energy Stocks Drop With AAOI Down 7%

Optical communications stocks dropped in morning trading. Applied Optoelectronics fell 7%; Coherent fell 6%; AXT and Credo Technology fell 5%; POET Technologies, Lumentum, Nokia, and Fabrinet fell 4%; Semtech, Photonics & Optics ETF, and Corning fell 3%; Ciena and Marvell Technology fell 2%.

Space stocks fell in morning trading. Intuitive Machines, Firefly Aerospace, Planet Labs, and Redwire fell 6%; BlackSky, AST SpaceMobile, Voyager Technologies, and Rocket Lab fell 5%; SpaceX fell 2%.

Nuclear energy stocks also slid in morning trading. X-Energy, NuScale Power, and Energy Fuels fell 6%; NANO Nuclear Energy, Lightbridge, Oklo, and Uranium fell 5%; Centrus, GE Vernova, Nexgen Energy, and Denison Mines fell 4%.
