Lina Lim, Managing Director of Funds and Discretionary Mandate for the Hong Kong Wealth and Premier Solutions division at HSBC Holdings PLC, is set to leave the company at the end of this month.

According to a statement from HSBC Holdings PLC, Allen Chiu, Head of Discretionary and Fund Business in Hong Kong, will temporarily assume Lina Lim's responsibilities while the bank seeks a suitable replacement.

Lina Lim has been with HSBC Holdings PLC for seven years, during which time she served as Executive Officer for Type 9 regulated activities under the supervision of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. She brings approximately 30 years of industry experience in asset and wealth management.

Based on her LinkedIn profile, prior to joining HSBC Holdings PLC, Lina Lim spent more than 13 years at JPMorgan Private Bank, where she served as an Executive Director and held various roles, including Head of Managed Solutions for Asia. She began her career at Ernst & Young in Malaysia before moving to Sumitomo Mitsui Asset Management as a Senior Portfolio Manager.

Lina Lim has led discretionary investment business for institutional wealth, serving clients such as family offices, endowments, non-profit organizations, and foundations. She holds certifications as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Lina Lim has also served on the boards of several non-profit organizations focused on education, gender equality, and well-being.
