Prudential plc announced that it cancelled 390,349 ordinary shares on Apr, 08 2026, reducing its outstanding share count to 2,526,209,110.
The company also disclosed that it bought back 250,000 shares on Apr, 08 2026 through the London Stock Exchange for cancellation. In addition, 369,603 shares repurchased on Apr, 07 2026 and the 250,000 shares bought on Apr, 08 2026 remain pending cancellation.
Under the current shareholder mandate dated May, 14 2025, Prudential is authorised to repurchase up to 262.7 million shares; it has so far acquired about 80.9 million shares, representing 3.10 % of the share base at the mandate date.
