3D MEDICINES (01244) has announced the latest developments in its arbitration case with SELLAS Life Sciences Group, Inc. The company's board is pleased to report that the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) has now fully concluded the proceedings, which encompassed the entire evidence submission and debate process. Following a review by a sole arbitrator, a final ruling has been issued.
The sole arbitrator's final decision completely dismisses all arbitration claims brought forward by SELLAS. Furthermore, the ruling mandates that SELLAS must bear the related arbitration costs incurred by 3D MEDICINES, totaling HKD 7.983 million. SELLAS is required to pay this amount in full within 14 days from the date of the ruling, which is on or before August 7, 2026. Should SELLAS fail to pay any outstanding amount on time, the unpaid sum will accrue overdue interest at an annual rate of 8%.
This arbitration does not impact the performance of the license agreement between the two parties. 3D MEDICINES will continue to advance the development and commercialization of 3D189 in the Greater China region according to the terms agreed upon in the agreement.
