Zhaoke Ophthalmology-B (06622) has announced that on June 2, 2026, Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration has accepted for review the company's registration application for its atropine sulfate eye drops (0.02% dose, product code: NVK002), which are used to slow the progression of myopia in children. The regulatory body has formally notified the company that its application has passed preliminary review and will proceed to a full evaluation. This application is based on the supportive results obtained from the company's Phase III clinical trial. The atropine sulfate eye drops (NVK002) are a solution intended to decelerate the worsening of myopia in children and adolescents. NVK002 is a patented formulation that effectively addresses the instability issues associated with low-concentration atropine. This technology is protected by intellectual property rights globally. The eye drops are preservative-free and have an anticipated shelf life of 24 months.
