Bulletin Express
Jul 21

LEADER EDU has named CCTH CPA Limited as its external auditor for the financial year ending 31 August 2026, filling the vacancy created by the earlier resignation of Jon Gepsom CPA Limited. The appointment took effect on 21 July 2026 and will continue until the conclusion of the company’s next annual general meeting.

The Audit Committee recommended CCTH after evaluating its suitability under the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council’s “Guidelines for Effective Audit Committees – Selection, Appointment and Reappointment of Auditors.” Key considerations included CCTH’s governance standards, compliance with ethical requirements, technical competence in International Financial Reporting Standards, and experience with Hong Kong–listed companies.

CCTH confirmed it will deploy sufficient resources and affirmed full independence in line with the Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants. The Board and Audit Committee concluded that the firm’s reputation, capability, and objectivity would sustain audit quality and serve shareholder interests.

The Board, chaired by Liu Laixiang, formally welcomed CCTH CPA Limited as auditor. Independent non-executive directors Zhang Su, Chan Ngai Fan, and Xu Xiong also serve on the Board. All information is based on the company’s announcement dated 21 July 2026.
