AK Medical Holdings Limited disclosed on 15 June 2026 that it repurchased 2.50 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange the same day at prices between HK$5.64 and HK$5.74, translating into a volume-weighted average cost of HK$5.71 per share. The aggregate consideration amounted to HK$14.28 million.
Following the transaction, the company’s outstanding issued share count (excluding treasury shares) fell 0.22% to 1.12 billion. Concurrently, treasury shares rose from 4.62 million to 7.12 million, while the total number of issued shares remained unchanged at 1.12 billion.
The buyback was executed under the mandate granted on 18 June 2025, which authorises repurchases of up to 112.27 million shares. To date, AK Medical has bought back 22.68 million shares under this mandate, representing 2.02% of the issued share base at the time of authorisation; roughly 89.59 million shares remain available for repurchase.
In addition to the latest treasury purchase, 15.56 million shares repurchased between 6 February and 8 June 2026—at prices ranging from HK$5.67 to HK$7.00—are earmarked for cancellation but had not yet been cancelled as of 15 June 2026.
Under Hong Kong listing rules, AK Medical is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 15 July 2026.
