JH EDUCATION (01935) announced that it expects the company's attributable comprehensive net profit for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025, to decrease by approximately 25% to 30% compared to the 2024 fiscal year. The board of directors attributes the expected decline in net profit primarily to two factors. Firstly, a significant renovation was undertaken on student dormitories at the group's operational college in Hangzhou during 2025. The remaining value of these dormitory improvements was written off as of December 31, 2025, resulting in a loss on the disposal of property, plant, and equipment. Secondly, the group recruited a substantial number of new teachers in 2025 to support a new campus expected to begin operations in September of the coming year and to enhance overall teaching quality. This increase in staffing led to a significant rise in salaries and employee benefits.
