IHH Healthcare starts voluntary winding-up of Malaysian real-estate unit

IHH Healthcare Berhad (IHH) said on Apr, 1 2026 that the sole shareholder of Parkway Life Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PLMSB) has approved a member’s voluntary winding-up of the special-purpose real-estate entity under Section 439(1)(b) of the Companies Act 2016. A liquidator has been appointed to carry out the process.

PLMSB is an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Parkway Life Real Estate Investment Trust, which is 32.96% indirectly owned by IHH. Incorporated on Feb, 16 2012, PLMSB ceased operations on Aug, 12 2025.

IHH said the winding-up will not affect its issued share capital, substantial shareholders, earnings or net assets for the financial year ending Dec, 31 2026, and the group does not expect any material losses. The group’s total investment in PLMSB amounts to about 16.0 million Malaysian ringgit.

None of the company’s directors, major shareholders or their connected persons holds any direct or indirect interest in the winding-up.
