COSCO SHIPPING International updates deployment of 272.2 million Singapore dollars from rights issue

COSCO SHIPPING International (Singapore) Co., Ltd. said on Mar, 19 2026 that it has provided a fresh update on the allocation of net proceeds from its renounceable non-underwritten rights issue of about 2.24 billion new shares. The fundraising generated roughly 272.2 million Singapore dollars in net proceeds after deducting 1.0 million Singapore dollars in expenses.

The company disclosed that an additional 6.4 million Singapore dollars has been channelled toward the construction or acquisition of logistics infrastructure and other investment opportunities, including the development of JILH Phase II. Cumulative utilisation now totals approximately 175.3 million Singapore dollars, consisting of 149.9 million Singapore dollars used to repay bank borrowings and 25.4 million Singapore dollars earmarked for logistics projects. The remaining balance stands at about 96.9 million Singapore dollars, with the board pledging to continue providing updates on further disbursements.
