On May, 21 2026, AIMS APAC REIT Management Limited, the manager of AIMS APAC REIT, announced it has closed its second set of unsecured sustainability-linked loan facilities totalling 450 million Singapore dollars and 160 million Australian dollars. United Overseas Bank acted as sole coordinator, mandated lead arranger and sustainability coordinator for these facilities.

In a separate transaction, two wholly owned subsidiaries of the trust obtained an unsecured on-shore syndicated facility of 115 million Australian dollars, including a 50 million Australian dollars green loan tranche linked to the Optus Centre asset. United Overseas Bank Sydney Branch and Australia and New Zealand Banking Group arranged this loan, with UOB serving as green loan coordinator.

The sustainability-linked loans feature margin adjustments tied to three key performance targets: reducing Scope 2 carbon emissions, expanding solar energy capacity across the portfolio and increasing the proportion of green leases with tenants.

Following completion of the new facilities and associated refinancing, the trust expects its pro forma weighted average debt maturity to extend from 2.2 years to approximately 4.0 years, with 100% of debt classified as unsecured.

The manager stated the transactions enhance liquidity, diversify funding sources and align financing costs with the trust’s environmental, social and governance objectives.
