The third International Smart Express Logistics Technology Application Competition of the Xiong'an Future City Scene Hub has drawn participation from companies based in Beijing and Tianjin.
This event, held from June 26th to 28th, centered on the transformation and upgrading of the postal and express delivery sector. It featured three main competition tracks: intelligent processing and automation, postal intelligent equipment and new application scenarios, and green postal packaging and recycling. A notable number of enterprises from Beijing and Tianjin took part.

At the finals, a warehouse-and-distribution integrated robot solution presented by Beijing Jiepei Cloud Technology Co., Ltd. garnered significant attention. This solution has already completed scenario implementation and commenced regular trial operations in the Xiong'an New Area. The robot operates without the need for constant human supervision, capable of automatically receiving orders, planning routes, and delivering parcels with precision. It offers a more efficient, convenient, and safe delivery experience for office workers in commercial buildings and community residents.
"Our solution relies on core technologies independently developed by our company, such as intelligent scheduling, autonomous obstacle avoidance, and route optimization, addressing industry challenges like low efficiency in traditional last-mile delivery, high labor costs, and limited delivery coverage," said Yang Zhen, General Manager of Beijing Jiepei Cloud Technology Co., Ltd. He expressed hope that their solution could be implemented in more cities across Hebei, aiding the province in achieving an intelligent upgrade of its last-mile logistics.
The express delivery industry, with its rich application scenarios and massive data resources, serves as a crucial arena for artificial intelligence applications. At the competition, numerous companies displayed related technological achievements.
Beijing Zhongke Zhitong Suda Technology Co., Ltd. presented an intelligent sorting technology—an integrated solution for intelligent sorting and feeding. Designed for logistics sorting scenarios involving massive volumes, multiple categories, and irregular non-standard items, it integrates advanced system design, high-speed robot design, intelligent vision and deep detection, and complex shape item grasping technology. This enables efficient and precise automated feeding and sorting, and can be adapted to over 90% of the various types of sorting equipment currently on the market.
As unmanned logistics vehicles, drones, and robots scale up for operations, the real-time audio-video transmission and control capabilities of remote driving seat platforms become increasingly critical. The stability and reliability of vehicle-to-cloud communication are directly related to urban traffic safety. The Xitong Wuzhou Real-time Intelligent Computing Engine, developed by Beijing Xitong Wuzhou Zhilian Technology Co., Ltd., ensures smooth, non-lagging video transmission for drones and unmanned vehicles. It is suitable for scenarios such as remotely assisting unmanned logistics vehicles out of difficult situations.
Aligning with green and low-carbon development requirements and practicing the industry's green development philosophy, Tianjin Bingli Cold Storage Technology Co., Ltd. introduced a series of products featuring new phase-change cold storage energy storage technology and its diversified application scenarios. "The company focuses on the R&D and application of cold storage energy storage products and technologies for full cold chain scenarios, continually expanding cross-domain cold storage technology development and technology asset operations. We aim to promote high-quality development in the cold chain industry with leading technology and high-quality products," said Yuan Wenbo, Project Department Manager of Tianjin Bingli Cold Storage Technology Co., Ltd. He expressed anticipation to actively connect with Hebei's modern logistics and fresh produce supply industries based on their company's full-chain cold storage energy storage technology advantages, exploring collaborative pathways across multiple fields to support the quality and upgrading of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei cold chain industry.
During interviews, many Beijing and Tianjin-based enterprises noted that Hebei is accelerating the construction of a crucial national base for modern commerce and logistics, holding an irreplaceably important position in the national express logistics landscape. In the future, Hebei's express logistics industry will accelerate its transformation towards intelligence, green development, supply chain integration, and cross-border operations. New scenarios like "intelligent sorting" and "unmanned delivery" will gradually achieve scale implementation in Hebei. They hope to use this competition as an opportunity to connect with relevant departments and enterprises, enabling their innovative achievements to be rapidly deployed in Hebei.
Experts suggest that Hebei should leverage its geographical advantage within the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, strengthen industrial coordination with Beijing and Tianjin, and use their R&D strengths to empower Hebei's digital and intelligent logistics transformation.
