MTR Announces 2026 Board Line-up and Committee Leadership; Jeny Yeung Confirmed as CEO

MTR Corporation Limited has released an updated register of its Board and Executive Directorate, together with the latest allocation of committee responsibilities, effective 20 July 2026.

Board Composition • Total directors: 19 – Executive Director: 1 (Jeny Yeung Mei-chun, Chief Executive Officer) – Non-Executive Directors: 5, including Chairman Dr Jacob Kam Chak-pui and four public-office representatives—Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury Christopher Hui Ching-yu, Secretary for Transport and Logistics (Mable Chan), Permanent Secretary for Development (Works) Ricky Lau Chun-kit and Commissioner for Transport Winnie Tse Wing-yee. – Independent Non-Executive Directors (INEDs): 13, led by Andrew Clifford Winawer Brandler, Dr Bunny Chan Chung-bun, Cheng Yan-kee and others. INEDs therefore constitute 68.42% of the Board, exceeding typical market best-practice thresholds for board independence.
