CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust (C38U) said its unitholders have overwhelmingly approved the proposed acquisition of a 100% interest in the Paragon property at an extraordinary general meeting held on Jun, 10 2026.
The ordinary resolution secured 3,646.46 million votes in favour, representing 99.96% of the total votes cast, with 1.60 million votes (0.04%) against.
The purchase is classified as an interested person transaction because the asset will be acquired from indirect wholly owned subsidiaries of Temasek Holdings. As required, Temasek and its associates, along with certain directors, abstained from voting.
Management said the acquisition, paired with the earlier divestment of Asia Square Tower 2, is expected to be distribution per unit–accretive, with a projected pro-forma increase of about 1.7%, and will add a freehold, mixed-use asset with an initial yield of roughly 3.9% to CICT’s portfolio.
The manager added that completion of the acquisition is not legally contingent on the completion of the Asia Square Tower 2 divestment, though both transactions form part of an overall capital-redeployment strategy.
The extraordinary general meeting, convened at Raffles City Convention Centre in Singapore, concluded at 11:47 a.m. local time.
