The stable operation of the real economy relies on a secure supply of essential energy. A collaborative innovation between finance and the energy sector is demonstrating significant effectiveness in bridging power supply assurance and capital turnover. CBHB (09668) recently disclosed that the cumulative disbursement of its supply chain financing business for electricity bill scenarios has surpassed RMB 10 billion. This service has covered over a hundred enterprises in sectors such as manufacturing, new energy, metallurgy, and chemicals, providing "full-capacity" financial support to alleviate payment pressures and revitalize cash flow for electricity-consuming companies.

Innovating "Electricity Bill Letter of Credit + Electricity Bill Draft": Unlocking the Closed Loop for Electricity Bill Settlement and Financing Electricity expenses represent a significant fixed cost for industrial enterprises, especially for high-energy-consuming industries like steel and chemicals. Large, frequent electricity bill payments often tie up working capital, while issues like cumbersome reconciliation and low financing efficiency under traditional settlement methods have long persisted. CBHB has taken the electricity sector as an entry point, establishing a service model that combines "electricity data + financial empowerment." Through its two core products, "Electricity Bill Letter of Credit" and "Electricity Bill Draft," it connects electricity-consuming enterprises, grid companies, and banks into a collaborative chain.

The "Electricity Bill Letter of Credit" utilizes a combination of domestic letters of credit and forfaiting instruments, leveraging strategic partnerships with the three major state grid companies to provide enterprises with multi-mode electricity bill settlement and financing services. Among these, to address the cross-regional, multi-site payment needs of group clients, CBHB innovatively launched the "One Credit for Multiple Charges" scenario for the State Grid: a single domestic letter of credit can simultaneously complete electricity bill payments for 19 production bases under a leading domestic steel group and achieve automatic account reconciliation. This model significantly simplifies cross-entity payment processes, reduces the complexity and cost of corporate financial management, and assists groups in achieving centralized electricity bill operations.

The "Electricity Bill Draft" constructs a fully online, closed-loop service. Enterprises can efficiently resolve capital allocation challenges during electricity procurement through electronic bank acceptance drafts and specialized discount services. CBHB's "Acceptance & Discount Ease" product achieves deep integration of the acceptance and discounting processes, offering a seamless payment experience for partners like the Inner Mongolia Power Grid—the grid company does not need to manually handle draft receipt and discounting; funds go directly to its account, providing a collection experience identical to cash settlement. This design effectively reduces corporate financing costs and addresses efficiency pain points in traditional electricity bill reconciliation.

Deepening Scenario-Based Finance: Extending from Electricity to the Entire Chain of Basic Livelihoods The breakthrough in electricity bill scenarios exemplifies CBHB's transformation in transaction banking. The bank has established a development philosophy centered on "industry foundation, scenario focus, internal-external integration, and treasury empowerment," deeply embedding financial services into the entire procurement, settlement, and financing processes of real industries. In 2025, the total internal and external business disbursements of CBHB's transaction banking exceeded RMB 1 trillion, supporting high-quality industrial development with precise financial supply.

In basic industries, CBHB eschews homogenized competition, focusing instead on key livelihood links such as water, electricity, coal, gas, oil, and transportation. By deepening strategic cooperation with industry leaders and launching exclusive financial products, it achieves efficient responses to financing needs. Addressing the frequent capital turnover demands of power companies, the bank uses scenario-based services to create a closed loop from basic settlement to capital financing, directing financial resources to the furthest reaches of the industry.

Looking ahead, CBHB's transaction banking business will further expand the coverage of its electricity bill scenario financing, deepen cooperation with the three major grid companies, and extend services upstream and downstream within the power industry chain. Simultaneously, the established scenario-based finance model will be replicated and promoted to more basic livelihood sectors such as water utilities, gas, and coal. In key focus areas like green finance, inclusive support for small and micro enterprises, cross-border services, and smart treasury, CBHB plans to build a more distinctive transaction banking service system. This aims to align financial supply more closely with actual industrial needs, using continuous innovation to invigorate the momentum for high-quality development in the real economy.
