China Hongqiao (01378) has announced its interim results for the 2026 fiscal year, reporting a revenue of approximately RMB 87.506 billion, representing an increase of about 8% compared to the same period last year.
The company recorded a gross profit of approximately RMB 27.526 billion, up 32.3% year-on-year. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the company reached approximately RMB 17.21 billion, marking a robust growth of 39.2% compared to the prior-year period. Basic earnings per share stood at RMB 1.734.
The company attributed the increase in net profit attributable to shareholders primarily to the year-on-year rise in the average selling price of its aluminum alloy products, alongside higher sales volumes and improved selling prices for its deep-processed aluminum alloy products.
During the period, sales volume of aluminum alloy products reached approximately 2.811 million tonnes, a decrease of roughly 3.3% from the 2.906 million tonnes recorded in the same period last year. However, the average selling price of these products climbed by approximately 18.7% year-on-year to about RMB 21,192 per tonne (excluding VAT).
In the alumina segment, sales volume amounted to approximately 6.917 million tonnes, an increase of 8.6% year-on-year, while the average selling price declined by 28.3% to approximately RMB 2,327 per tonne (excluding VAT) compared to the corresponding period last year.
For deep-processed aluminum alloy products, sales volume rose by 23.2% year-on-year to approximately 444,000 tonnes, with the average selling price increasing by 13.4% to about RMB 23,436 per tonne (excluding VAT) relative to the same period in the prior year.
