In Jizhou District of Hengshui City, Hebei Province, a transformation is underway. The local industry is shifting towards intelligent manufacturing and expanding its market reach through cloud-based platforms, leveraging digital intelligence to fuel industrial development.

"Here, we are showcasing our multi-functional nursing bed designed for immobile and semi-immobile elderly individuals. With features like synchronized back and leg movement and one-touch operation, it significantly alleviates the caregiving burden on families," explained a host in a recent live-streaming session from Hebei Maili Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., detailing product functions and usage scenarios via an e-commerce platform.

This scene is part of Jizhou District's "One Product, One Broadcast" initiative, a daily example of how digital intelligence is empowering industrial progress. In recent years, the district has strengthened its foundation through intelligent transformation and expanded its market via cloud-based marketing, driving quality improvement and efficiency gains in its leading industries. Measures such as establishing the regional public brand "Jizhou Assistive Devices" are helping to chart a new path of digital-intelligence integration for the upgrading of traditional industries.

**From "Single Heating" to "Diverse Strength": Traditional Industries Turn to "Intelligence"**

The heating and casting industry is a hallmark of Jizhou District. Originating from the Jixian Radiator Factory founded in 1972, the sector has evolved through years of transformation and upgrading, growing into a prominent local private enterprise—Chunfeng Industrial Group Co., Ltd. (Chunfeng Group).

According to Yu Jiuxue, head of the publicity department at Chunfeng Group, the 760-type cast iron radiator, China's first with independent intellectual property rights, was launched in the 1970s and 1980s, establishing the company's brand in the industry. Adapting to market changes and diverse demands, Chunfeng Group established a productivity promotion center for heating and casting, developing green, low-carbon products such as the "Air Energy + Solar Thermal" multi-energy complementary heating system and electric-free heating systems.

Building on local industrial strengths, Chunfeng Group has optimized traditional sectors like heating, rubber rollers, and equipment manufacturing while actively expanding into emerging industries including automotive parts manufacturing, international trade, cultural tourism, environmental testing, and smart health care. Its subsidiary, Hebei Longchun General Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., is accelerating its transition from traditional casting to the automotive parts sector, becoming a core supplier for domestic and international automakers such as Great Wall, BYD, and Mercedes-Benz.

"We use 5G as the data hub, integrated with the MES production execution system, covering core manufacturing processes to achieve full-process collaborative manufacturing," explained Mi Wenshuai, deputy general manager of the company. In 2025, the company implemented an intelligent manufacturing project for key new energy vehicle components, precisely meeting high-end market demands and taking a crucial step towards smart manufacturing.

**From "Workshop" to "Live Stream": Industrial Products Break Through via the Cloud**

Leveraging its solid industrial foundation, Jizhou District formulated and issued the "Jizhou District Work Plan for Promoting Industrial Product E-commerce Live Streaming." Focusing on leading industries, the district established an "One Product, One Broadcast" industrial base, using this initiative as a driver to innovate industrial product marketing models.

"We conduct live streams directly from the production workshop to showcase product craftsmanship and manufacturing processes, enhancing product credibility and visibility," said Liu Chengde, executive deputy general manager of Hebei Chunfeng Yinxing Rubber Roller Co., Ltd. This approach has already attracted business inquiries and cooperation from clients in Guangdong, Fujian, and other regions.

Furthermore, as the largest production and sales base for medical equipment and rehabilitation aids in northern China, related enterprises in Jizhou District have long been showcasing their products through live streaming. Since its establishment, Hebei Maili Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. has focused on medical equipment like nursing beds, exploring diverse formats such as showroom and factory live streams.

"Our live streaming operates non-stop from 7 AM to 12 AM, offering all-weather, multi-scenario product explanations," stated Zhang Litian, sales manager of Hebei Maili Medical Equipment Co., Ltd. In 2025, the company's total online transaction value reached 29.8256 million yuan, demonstrating the significant impact of live-streaming commerce.

To effectively implement the "One Product, One Strategy, One Product, One Goal" approach, Jizhou District selected four products as candidates for cultivating best-sellers, including the functional medical healthcare socks from Hengshui Yiqingshu Hosiery Co., Ltd.

Zhang Liyun, general manager of Hengshui Yiqingshu Hosiery Co., Ltd., noted that the company avoids homogeneous competition through differentiated R&D, having launched functional sock products such as diabetic foot-specific socks and massage sports socks. With their excellent quality and professional performance, these products are exported to numerous countries and regions overseas. Today, leveraging the Jizhou "One Product, One Broadcast" base, the company is vigorously expanding its market, achieving synergistic growth in both domestic and international sales.

"We are exploring the operational characteristics of various platforms to precisely launch traffic-driving content while continuously optimizing products based on customer feedback," Zhang Liyun added.

Liu Xiaoxia, director of the Jizhou District Industry and Information Technology Bureau, stated that the next step involves focusing on leading industries like medical equipment and rehabilitation aids, aiming to pioneer the creation of 20 basic or extended live-streaming scenarios. The bureau will guide key enterprises in accelerating the enhancement of their live-streaming scene professionalism.

"The goal is to bring more high-quality Jizhou products, often 'hidden' in workshops, in front of the camera and into the broader market," Liu Xiaoxia concluded.
