Data released on Wednesday indicates that LG Electronics secured its position as the global leader in organic light-emitting diode (OLED) television market share for the 13th consecutive year in 2025.
According to information compiled by industry tracker Omdia, the South Korean technology giant captured 49.7% of the global OLED TV market in 2025, driven by robust demand for premium televisions.
In the previous year, LG Electronics held a 50.5% share of the European OLED TV market. Out of the region's total sales of 3.14 million units, LG sold 1.59 million units.
Industry observers noted that LG's strong performance in the European market was supported by local consumers opting for high-resolution televisions to watch sports events, including the English Premier League.
The data further revealed that LG Electronics commanded a 50.1% share of the North American OLED TV market and a dominant 62.3% share in the Asia-Pacific region.
