MakeMyTrip (MMYT) stock surged 10.24% in pre-market trading on Monday, after the online travel giant reported fiscal first-quarter results that handily beat Wall Street earnings estimates, driven by strong travel demand and a sharp rise in gross bookings.

The company posted adjusted diluted earnings per share of $0.53, significantly exceeding the FactSet consensus estimate of $0.31. Revenue for the quarter reached $285.6 million, representing a 16.1% year-over-year increase in constant currency, while gross bookings climbed 19.9% to $2,854.7 million. The upbeat performance underscored the company’s ability to capitalize on sustained consumer appetite for travel and operational efficiency, fueling investor optimism heading into the new fiscal year.
