Stock Track | Lingbao Gold Plummets 5.14% Intraday Following Major Shareholder Transfer

Stock Track
May 27

Lingbao Gold's stock plummeted 5.14% during intraday trading on Wednesday, reflecting a sharp decline in investor sentiment.

The drop followed news that a shareholder transferred a significant block of Lingbao Gold shares from BNP Paribas to Citibank. The transferred holdings had a market value of approximately HKD 721 million, representing 3.21% of the company's total shares. Such a large-scale transfer can often signal potential changes in ownership or future selling activity, leading to market uncertainty and downward pressure on the stock price.

Separately, the company announced a final dividend of HKD 0.057237 per share for the year ending December 31, 2025, scheduled for payment in June 2026. This dividend news, however, was overshadowed by the market's reaction to the share transfer announcement.
