Elite UK REIT’s unitholders approved every item on the agenda at the trust’s Sixth Annual General Meeting held on Apr, 23 2026 in Singapore.
The meeting, chaired by David Lim Teck Leong, adopted the FY2025 audited financial statements and the reports of Perpetual (Asia) Limited (the trustee) and Elite UK REIT Management Pte. Ltd. (the manager), with 99.06 % of votes cast in favour.
Unitholders also re-appointed KPMG LLP as external auditor until the next AGM, authorised the manager to issue new units and/or convertible securities representing up to 50 % of the issued units (with a 20 % sub-limit for non-pro-rata issues), and granted a unit buy-back mandate allowing repurchases of up to 10 % of issued units at prices not exceeding 105 % of the five-day average closing price. Support for these resolutions ranged between 98.25 % and 99.03 %.
During the meeting, Chief Executive Officer Joshua Liaw outlined FY2025 performance and addressed queries on the trust’s expansion into UK purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), plans to monetise the Peel Park, Blackpool site following recent planning approval, interest-rate hedging (currently 80–90 % of debt fixed), and ongoing discussions with the Department for Work & Pensions on remaining leases expiring in 2028.
Management confirmed it has not yet executed any unit buy-backs under the existing mandate and said the previously announced £9.5 million sustainability-related capital expenditure tied to lease renewals will be funded with debt over 2026-2028.
The AGM concluded at 11:10 a.m. with no further business.
