On the morning of July 27, Meituan launched its new full-scenario AI Agent platform, CatPaw. This platform provides an out-of-the-box AI workbench, along with enterprise-grade Agent development and hosting capabilities. The goal is to help businesses and merchants build collaborative, manageable AI assistants to streamline daily operations and boost operational efficiency.

According to the company, CatPaw is designed for local life service merchants. Within the scope of user authorization and rule configuration, it can help aggregate scattered information such as sales, group buying verification, reviews, and inventory. It can also identify operational anomalies and pending matters, and generate usable deliverables like reports. Merchants can then dedicate more time to product selection, service, and business judgment, while key decisions such as price adjustments and campaign launches remain under the operator's control.

Currently, CatPaw is already being used internally at Meituan by 90,000 employees, with over 30,000 Agents built. It has also been validated in several real business scenarios, including catering, beauty services, and veterinary clinics.
