Hanzhong's market regulation authorities issued a notice on October 6 regarding six hotels in the city that are under investigation and subject to administrative penalties for suspected price fraud during the 2026 National Day holiday period, marking the second batch of such cases.
The crackdown aims to rigorously investigate illegal pricing practices and maintain order in the holiday accommodation market.
Towo Superior Hotel (Central Plaza branch), H Hotel (High-Speed Railway Station branch), Meiyu Xingfeng E-sports Hotel (High-Speed Railway Station branch), and Hanting Hotel (Central Plaza branch) were found to have engaged in price fraud during this year's National Day holiday. Hanzhong's market regulation authorities have imposed administrative penalties on these four hotels in accordance with the law.
Separately, Paisheng Smart Hotel (High-Speed Railway Station branch) and Vienna International Hotel (Tianhan Tower branch) are suspected of price fraud during this year's National Day holiday. Hanzhong's market regulation authorities have formally opened investigations into these two hotels in accordance with the law.
A solemn reminder has been issued to all accommodation operators across the city: strictly comply with the Price Law of the People's Republic of China, the Provisions on Clearly Marking Prices and Prohibiting Price Fraud, and other relevant laws and regulations. Refusing to fulfill or only partially fulfilling price commitments, offering false discounts, and other illegal and non-compliant pricing behaviors are strictly prohibited. Any violations discovered will be dealt with swiftly and severely.
