Mongolian Mining Cuts Share Count by 1.14% After HKD 78.09 Million Buyback

Mongolian Mining Corporation completed the cancellation of 11.75 million ordinary shares on 10 August 2026, shrinking its outstanding share base to 1.02 billion from 1.03 billion. The cancelled shares had been repurchased on-market between 24 June and 13 July 2026 at prices ranging from HKD 5.98 to HKD 6.87 per share.
The aggregate consideration for the cancelled shares amounts to approximately HKD 78.09 million, implying a volume-weighted average repurchase price of HKD 6.65 per share. The buyback reduced the company’s issued share capital by 1.14%.
An additional 0.60 million shares repurchased on 13 July 2026 remain to be cancelled, representing a further 0.06% of the current share count.
