Tanwan executes HK$232.00 million on-market share repurchase to support “AI + Game” expansion

Tanwan Inc. (Tanwan) disclosed that between 27 May 2025 and 24 July 2026 it bought back 16.17 million shares on the open market, spending HK$232.00 million in total. The average repurchase price was HK$14.33 per share, and all repurchased shares have been kept as treasury stock.

Management stated that the programme reflects confidence in the company’s long-term prospects and aligns with shareholder interests. Tanwan is advancing a dual-engine growth model centred on “AI + Game”, broadening its global footprint while deepening its domestic online and mobile gaming ecosystem. Strategic priorities include:

1. Diversifying its intellectual-property portfolio to strengthen product offerings. 2. Expanding international distribution through targeted market positioning and cultural localisation. 3. Embedding artificial-intelligence applications across game R&D, content production and player services to lift operational efficiency and user engagement.

The board reiterated its optimism about Tanwan’s market position and strategic trajectory as the company pursues high-quality, innovation-driven growth.
