The Hour Glass Limited held its 47th Annual General Meeting on Jul, 21 2026 at Hilton Singapore Orchard, where all resolutions were passed by electronic poll.

The meeting approved the Directors’ Statement, Auditor’s Report and audited financial statements for the year ended Mar, 31 2026, with 99.98% of votes cast in favour.

Shareholders backed a one-tier final dividend of 4.00 cents per ordinary share, payable on Aug, 13 2026 to investors on the register as of Jul, 29 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

Re-elections were confirmed for Executive Chairman Dr Henry Tay, Mr Jeffry Lee and Ms Christine Pillsbury. Directors’ fees of up to 0.51 million Singapore dollars for the financial year ending Mar, 31 2027 were also approved.

Ernst & Young LLP was re-appointed as auditor until the next AGM, and the board obtained a share issue mandate allowing the issue of new shares up to 50% of the company’s issued capital, with a 20% sub-limit for non-pro-rata issues. Shareholders further renewed the 10% share purchase mandate.

During the question-and-answer session, management said revenue rose 15.1% year-on-year in FY2026, while profit after tax grew 31.9% to 179.5 million Singapore dollars, citing stabilised margins, cost discipline and fair-value gains on investment properties. The board reaffirmed its policy of balancing ordinary dividends with share buybacks to preserve balance-sheet strength while returning capital to shareholders.
