Bank of Gansu appoints new board committee members and names new company secretary

Bank of Gansu Co., Ltd. announced that its board approved several governance changes on 21 July 2026.

The lender appointed Mr. Shi Hailong to the fourth-session strategy and development committee and to the related-party transaction and risk-management committee. His term will begin once the Gansu Office of the National Financial Regulatory Administration confirms his director qualification and will run concurrently with the current board’s tenure.

In addition, non-executive director Ms. Yang Chunmei has joined the consumer rights protection committee, effective immediately and aligned with the fourth board’s term.

Separately, company secretary Mr. Wong Wai Chiu resigned as company secretary, authorised representative under Hong Kong Listing Rule 3.05, and process agent under Part 16 of the Companies Ordinance, effective 21 July 2026. Mr. Wong indicated he has no disagreements with the board and no matters requiring shareholder attention.

Ms. Au Yeung Lai Yee, an associate member of The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute with more than ten years of corporate secretarial experience, succeeds Mr. Wong as company secretary, authorised representative and process agent from the same date.

Chairman Mr. Liu Qing expressed appreciation for Mr. Wong’s service and welcomed Ms. Au Yeung’s appointment. The board of Bank of Gansu now comprises one executive director, six non-executive directors and five independent non-executive directors.
