The reconstruction of the Miaotou Village Bridge connects both the public's expectations for daily travel and the future blueprint for urban development. In March of last year, the reconstruction project for the Miaotou Village Bridge officially commenced, marking the beginning of an upgrade to the transportation network in western Xiuzhou and accelerating the development of the Canal Bay New City. It also represents a significant effort by Xiuzhou District to prioritize public welfare and foster growth. The project starts at the intersection of Huayun Road and Yunhai Road, extending westward along the original Yunhai Road, and ends at the planned Dade Road intersection. The route includes a bridge spanning Langzhongqiao Port, G320 (West Third Ring Road), and the Hang-Shen Line (Jiaxing Section) Level III waterway. The total route length is 0.796 kilometers, featuring a single bridge measuring 451.24 meters. With a construction period of 24 months, the project team has meticulously planned construction methods, precisely allocated human and mechanical resources, and steadily advanced all construction tasks since commencement.
"Currently, the project is progressing smoothly. We have completed 60 pile foundations, accounting for 81% of the total, and 6 bearing platforms, representing 85.7% completion. We have successfully overcome the challenging underground engineering phase. The current focus is on constructing the lower part of the bridge, including piers, columns, and cap beams, as well as the on-site fabrication of steel structures. Our next step is to ensure the project is completed on schedule, laying a solid foundation for the installation of the main bridge structure and deck construction," said Hu Wei, project manager for the Miaotou Village Bridge reconstruction.
