AK Medical Repurchases 1.22 Million Shares, Treasury Stock Rises to 4.62 Million

AK Medical Holdings Limited reported that on 12 June 2026 it repurchased 1.22 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD 5.73 to HKD 5.82, translating into a volume-weighted average price of HKD 5.81. The total consideration amounted to HKD 7.09 million.

Following the transaction, the company’s issued share count excluding treasury shares fell by 0.11% to 1.12 billion, while the number of treasury shares increased from 3.40 million to 4.62 million. Total issued shares, including treasury shares, remained unchanged at 1.12 billion.

Since the current buy-back mandate was approved on 18 June 2025, AK Medical has repurchased 20.18 million shares, representing 1.80% of the shares outstanding on the mandate date. As at 12 June 2026, 15.56 million repurchased shares (1.38% of total issued shares) were still pending cancellation.

Under Hong Kong Listing Rules, the latest buy-back triggers a 30-day moratorium on new share issues or further treasury-share sales, lasting through 12 July 2026.
