Guzman y Gomez Ltd's stock surged 5.33% during intraday trading on Wednesday, marking a significant upward movement for the Australian quick-service restaurant chain.

The price increase follows the company's report of 6.6% growth in like-for-like sales in Australia during the third quarter, with an acceleration to approximately 9% in the most recent five-week period. Analyst Ben Gilbert from Jarden described this as a "strong result" given the challenging macroeconomic backdrop, noting that it didn't come at the expense of profit margins.

Jarden has responded by lifting its net profit outlook for fiscal years 2026 through 2028 by 2-8%, while raising its price target to A$17.30 per share. The company also demonstrates strong growth potential with earnings forecasted to rise by 32.2% annually, surpassing the Australian market average, and maintains high insider ownership of 16%.
