Price Increase for Advanced Processes
According to reports, technology analyst Tim Culpan noted that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) has begun notifying customers of price increases for its wafer foundry services. The hikes are not limited to the previously rumored 3nm process but extend to all advanced processes at 7nm and below. The overall increase is approximately 5% to 10%, affecting around 75% of the company's wafer revenue.
SK Hynix ADR Listing Update
In other news, SK Hynix is expected to submit a securities registration statement to South Korea's Financial Supervisory Service this Wednesday regarding its planned American Depositary Receipt (ADR) listing. The company anticipates the FSS could complete its document review as early as July 3rd, with the ADR listing potentially finalized in July.
