China Everbright Water Limited (U9E) said it has completed the issuance of its 2026 first-tranche medium-term notes, raising principal proceeds of RMB15 billion.
The notes were priced at 1.80 per cent, issued on Jul, 10 2026 and will start bearing interest on Jul, 13 2026. They carry a five-year tenor, with the company holding an option to adjust the coupon at the end of the third interest year and investors holding a put option at the same point. Final maturity is scheduled for Jul, 13 2031, unless investors exercise the put, which would bring repayment forward to Jul, 13 2029.
A total of 17 institutional investors submitted compliant bids amounting to RMB27 billion, while 13 investors placed valid bids totalling RMB16.8 billion. Everbright Securities acted as both bookrunner and lead underwriter, with Bank of China serving as joint lead underwriter.
The company intends to use the proceeds to refinance existing outstanding bonds.
