Jiangsu Zenergy Battery Technologies Group Co., Ltd. (ZENERGY) has published its second annual Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, covering operations from 1 January to 31 December 2025 and all subsidiaries and affiliates.
Environmental Performance and Targets • Certification & Compliance: The group retained 100% coverage under ISO 14001 and reported no environmental violations, pollution or ecological damage incidents during the year. • Emissions: Direct (Scope 1) and indirect (Scope 2) greenhouse-gas emissions totalled 274,592 tCO2e, translating into an intensity of 0.013 tCO2 per kWh of production output. Three Scope 3 categories—purchased goods and services, employee commuting and product use—were quantified at 1.94 million tCO2e. • Energy & Renewables: Total energy consumption reached 85,633 tonnes of standard coal equivalent. A 5.63 MW rooftop solar project and a 12 MW energy-storage power station were commissioned; the PV installation is expected to generate about 5.66 million kWh annually and cut 3,300 tCO2e. • Waste & Water: Hazardous waste intensity stood at 0.067 kg per kWh of output, with a 100% compliant disposal rate. Water consumption was 1.31 million m³, equal to 0.062 m³ per kWh. • Forward Goals: By 2026 the company aims to cut total energy-consumption intensity by 10%, water-consumption intensity by 10% and hazardous-waste intensity by 1%. A 15% reduction in combined Scope 1+2 carbon-emission intensity is targeted for 2030 versus the 2025 baseline.
Social Indicators • Workforce: Headcount totalled 6,684 (24.46% female). Turnover was 47%. • Health & Safety: Zero work-related fatalities, zero occupational-disease cases and no Level-3-or-above accidents were recorded. • Training: All employees received training, averaging 42 hours per person. • Community: Cash donations amounted to RMB1.50 million, directed to local charity and education funds.
