BASICSEMI: Zhihan Wang Acquires Shares, Long Position Rises to 42.97%

On October 6, 2026, Zhihan Wang's deemed interest in BASICSEMI (09971) H shares increased by 55,000 shares after the company repurchased the same number of ordinary shares on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong at an average price of HKD 39.7945 per share, involving approximately HKD 2.19 million. The repurchased shares were held as treasury shares, and Wang, as the controlling shareholder with more than one-third voting rights, is deemed to be interested in those shares.

Prior to the deemed acquisition, Wang's long position in BASICSEMI was 123.50 million shares, representing 42.95%; following the change, his holding became 123.55 million shares, with the long position ratio rising to 42.97%.
