Manulife (TSX: MFC) has announced it will release its second-quarter financial results for 2026 after the market closes on Wednesday, August 5th.

Management will host a webcast and conference call at 8:00 a.m. ET on Thursday, August 6th to discuss the results and answer questions from analysts.

The earnings report will be available on the company's investor relations website.

Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, the company is a leading global financial services provider operating as Manulife in Canada and Asia and primarily as John Hancock in the United States.

It offers financial advice, insurance, and health solutions to individuals, groups, and institutions.

As of the end of 2025, Manulife served over 37 million clients across 25 global markets with more than 37,000 employees, 106,000 agents, and thousands of distribution partners.

Based on analyst consensus estimates, the company's second-quarter earnings per share are projected to be $0.67, up from $0.59 in the same period last year.

In the first quarter of this year, the company reported an 11% year-over-year increase in core earnings per share, with a core return on equity of 16.5%.

Management has reaffirmed its medium-term target of achieving a core return on equity above 18% by 2027.

However, the company's wealth and asset management segment has faced some pressure, reporting net outflows of C$4.4 billion in Q1, primarily due to short-term factors like client shifts to higher-yielding products.

Management anticipates this trend will gradually normalize in subsequent quarters.

The company paid a quarterly dividend of $0.485 per share in May of this year.

This translates to an annualized dividend yield of approximately 4.6%.
