Prudential buys back 0.015% of shares for about SGD6.3 m

Prudential plc announced that it repurchased 377,128 ordinary shares on Jul, 10 2026 through the London Stock Exchange for a total consideration of about 6.3 million Singapore dollars, based on an average price of roughly GBP10.41 per share.

The transaction represents approximately 0.015 per cent of Prudential’s issued share capital. All the repurchased shares are intended for cancellation.

Following the cancellation on Jul, 10 2026 of 382,956 shares that had been bought back on Jul, 8 2026, Prudential’s outstanding share count stood at 2,509,064,663 ordinary shares.

Under the current shareholder mandate approved on May, 14 2025, Prudential is authorised to repurchase up to 262.7 million shares; cumulative buybacks under this mandate now total 103.9 million shares, or about 3.99 per cent of the share base at the time the mandate was granted.

The company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or transferring any treasury shares until Aug, 09 2026.
